Interactive Program on Retinoblastoma Awareness: Highlighting Early Detection
On the occasion of World Retinoblastoma Awareness Week, Open Eyes Nepal, in collaboration with Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology, NOS Nepal, and the Nepal Pediatric Society, organized an "Interactive Program on Retinoblastoma Awareness."
This event primarily focused on educating pediatricians about the importance of early detection through white pupil (leukocoria) screening, a key indicator of Retinoblastoma. The program also featured powerful stories from Retinoblastoma survivors, highlighting the impact of timely diagnosis and treatment.
Through such initiatives, we aim to enhance awareness, early diagnosis, and better treatment outcomes for children affected by Retinoblastoma.
