Advisor

Dr. Rohit Saiju is the Hospital Director of Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology and a leading figure in Nepal’s ophthalmic community. He is the Founder President of the Nepalese Society of Oculoplastic Surgeons (NESOS) and the President of the Nepal Ophthalmic Society (NOS). As a pioneer in oculoplastic surgery in Nepal, he established the Department of Oculoplasty at Tilganga in 2000, significantly advancing specialized eye care in the country.

Chief Advisor

Diwakar Rajkarnikar is the Managing Director of Ram Bhandar, Waterfront Resort, and Himalayan Front Hotel. He is the Chairman of The Hidden Treasure and former Chairman of Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital (2001–2009). A dedicated social leader, he is the past president of Nepal Cancer Relief Society, Rotary Club Bagmati, and Kathmandu Jaycees, and a founding member of Sakaratmak Soch Abhiyan.

Dr. Purnima Rajkarnikar Sthapit is an ocular oncologist and oculoplastic surgeon at Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology, Kathmandu, since 2016. Previously, she was an Assistant Professor at Dhulikhel Hospital, Kathmandu University (2008–2016). She also serves as a council member of the Asia Pacific Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a Central Committee member of the Nepal Cancer Relief Society.

General Secretary

Rabin, a banker with 14 years of experience, is the Head of Mid-Market at Laxmi Bank Ltd. He is committed to giving back to the community by engaging with like-minded individuals dedicated to positive change. He finds purpose in serving others, which enriches various aspects of his life.

Treasurer

Ms. Archana Rajbhandari Shrestha, a computer engineer with 20 years of experience in IT, is an assistant manager at Nepal Electricity Authority. She is passionate about supporting underprivileged children and actively seeks opportunities to give back to society.

Dr. Malita Amatya, an eye and oculoplastic surgeon, has been working at Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology since 2013. She earned her MD in Ophthalmology from Nepal Eye Hospital and is a life member of the Asia Pacific Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Nepal Ophthalmic Society, and Nepalese Society of Oculoplastic Surgeons.

Umang Sharma, with an MBA from Kathmandu University, has over 19 years of experience in Nepal's commercial banking sector. She worked at Citizens Bank International (2007–2021) and Nabil Bank (2002–2007) and served as a director at Nepal Clearing House (2017–2021). Her expertise includes commercial banking, credit, marketing and communication, human resources, and general administration.

Suchita, an MBA graduate from Kathmandu University specializing in Marketing and Communication, has over 18 years of experience in media and the development sector. She currently leads the communication unit in the development sector, focusing on strategic and digital communication management.

Junima is an Associate Professor and Head of the Periodontology Department at Nepal Medical College. She holds a BDS from MCODS, Manipal University, and an MDS from Kathmandu University. She is a life member of the Nepal Cancer Relief Society and Nepal Dental Association, and a founder member of the Nepalese Society of Periodontology and Oral Implantology (NSPOI). She also served as the Executive Editor of the Journal of NSPOI (2019-2020).

Saurav Rajkarnikar, Managing Director of Everest Route Pvt Ltd (a consultancy and digital marketing firm), has been in the role since 2015. He is also the Executive Director at Waterfront Resort and Himalayan Front Hotel by KGH Group. Saurav is expanding his family’s traditional sweets business, Ram Bhandar, and is an expert in information systems management, digital marketing in hospitality, and facilities management. He holds an MBA from Australian Catholic University.

Anupama Shrestha Manandhar, with an MBA and 21 years of experience in banking, is the Chief Risk Officer at Century Commercial Bank Limited. She is also a founding member of Open Eyes Nepal, aiming to serve society, particularly in the health sector.
